The Diefenbaker Lake Cottage Development (DLCD) is located inside Palliser Regional Park, on the banks of Lake Diefenbaker and 5km South West of Riverhurst.  Access from the east via highway #42.  From the west, highway #42 leads you to the Riverhurst Ferry, to cross Lake Diefenbaker.  The Ferry leaves the west shore on the half hour and the east shore on the hour.

DLCD was incorporated under the Non-Profit Corporations Act on October 15, 1979.  

The cottage development provides year round services including snow removal, water filtration and garbage pickup.   Seasonal services include marina, golf course, restaurant, hotel, heated pool, camping facilities and much more.  There are presently 100 cottages in the development.
