The secret is out - Palliser Regional Park is destined to become one of Southern Saskatchewan's most popular vacation spots.  Nestled on the shores of Lake Diefenbaker - in the centre of the golden triangle between Saskatoon, Swift Current and Regina - Palliser Park offers a galaxy of attractions for those who want to get away from it all.  Camping, Golfing, Fishing, Sailing, Hiking... the list goes on.

Park Services

Palliser Regional Park has all the modern amenities for those who like to spend their weekends camping.  The park has 209 camp sites, including 101 serviced sites, 24 full service sites, a concession supplies all your camping needs.  The park has 3 group camp areas.  Palliser Regional Park   also has the best sandy beaches on Lake Diefenbaker, a heated outdoor swimming pool and wading pool.  The Riverbreaks Golf Gourse is a favorite for the seasoned golfer featuring golf carts and a fully licensed club house. 

Swimming Pool

Palliser Regional Park offers sandy beaches, along with a heated outdoor swimming pool and wading pool.  The pool offers Monday to Friday morning swim lessons for all levels.  New lessons start every week.  Public swimming is offered weekends, afternoons, and evenings.  Lifeguard on duty.  Call the pool at (306) 353-4515.

Swimming Lessons

Lessons start at the end of June and run for 6 weeks.  Pre-Register by noon of the Saturday prior to desired week for lessons.  Call the pool at (306) 353-4515 for details.

Fishing

If you like to fish, Lake Diefenbaker is the place to go.  With 29 species of fish, including Rainbow Trout, Walleye and Northern Pike, it offers some of the best fishing in Southern Saskatchewan.  The annual Riverhurst Walleye Classic Fish Tournament is held fathers day weekend with over $21,000.00 in prizes.

The park is officially open from May long weekend to Sept. long weekend.
